Our GP WOMEN'S MINISTRY help women EXPLORE, become EMPOWERED, and ENGAGE in Christ and the biblical purposes of the church. GP Women aims to welcome women with open arms, connect them to God and others, equip them to live out God’s purpose for their lives, and send them out to share Christ’s love with their families, communities and the world.
The Purpose of our Women’s Ministry is to encourage women in all seasons of life to connect with each other and develop their relationship with God as passionate followers of Christ through:

The GP MEN'S MINISTRY is designed to help men flourish as God designed them to be. The formula is quite simple: we seek to gather men together for Straight Talk with the Pastor about what men deal with in Life. There is no subject that we are not willing to deal with in our Straight talks. In all our endeavors we stress manhood and fatherhood as a godly way of life for the men in Greater Pentecostal. Our goal is to quip and encourage men to fulfill their God ordained purpose.
Men's Ministry is dedicated to moving guys from acquaintances to brotherhood and creating a generation of men dedicated to the Kingdom. Our purpose is to bring men of all ages together to strengthen relationships and comaraderie and to reach out to our friends, family, and community with the message of God's love. There are many opportunities available to help you along this journey to becoming the man Christ created you to be. These opportunities include fellowship, workshops, mentoring programs, community service and other ministries for your involvement in the church and community.
Our GP CHILDREN AND YOUTH MINISTRY is where kids and teens experience that God is a Great big God and they can have a great big life! We love partnering with parents to help our children grow in their walk with God and develop a lasting relationship with him. We invite you to check out all of the amazing opportunities we have to help children and teens live their best life now! Staff working with or around our children are screened, trained, and required to follow our child safety protocols which are designed to help keep our children safe.
The Greater Pentecostal Children’s Ministry gives children of all ages the opportunity to worship God in their own unique way. Our desire is to create an age-appropriate worship environment where children can LEARN about God’s Word, REFLECT on the life of Jesus Christ, and EXPERIENCE God’s abundant life through the Holy Spirit. Your child will experience the truth about God in a child-friendly way. It is never too early for a child to learn the Word of God. The earlier children begin to apply the teachings of God to their daily lives, the more in touch they are with their faith on a daily basis, and into their adulthood. We teach God’s character and principles through His Word and the example of Jesus Christ. We use praise and worship, arts and crafts, puppeteers, Vacation Bible School, Drama and fine arts, praise dance and fellowship to ensure God’s objectives are reached.
The FIRST IMPRESSION MINISTRY provides an excellent first contact for members and visitors to Greater Pentecostal COGIC through safety in the parking areas, warm and friendly greetings through every entrance and attentive care during the worship service. Our First Impression team consists of Ushers, Greeters, Technology, Mass Media, Photograph and Membership Nurturing. First Impression is here to serve and guide you through Greater Pentecostal’s worship experience. We help to create an environment where people can hear the Word of God, and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
The First Impressions ministry thrives on smiles, kindness, patience, information and assistance to all who join together to worship at Greater Pentecostal. Our warm and friendly volunteers are here to assist in anyway they can. We want your experience to be life changing! First Impression serves in excellence and is always seeking others who would like to share their gifts and talents by serving at Greater Pentecostal. Come out and be a part of our wonderful First Touch team. We are first and foremost “A MINISTRY.” We care and pray for our team and also those who attend Greater Pentecostal.

MUSIC has always played an important role in the worship of God’s people. The purpose of the Music Ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encourage believers in their walk with Christ, lead the congregation in worship and praise, and provide an avenue through which individuals may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship service. The Music Ministry spreads the Word of God through music.
The Music Ministry also enables choir members to grow spiritually by committing their time and talents to God. The Music Ministry provides worship music for assigned church worship services and special services outside of the church. “It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the … instruments of music, … that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord; so that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God”– II Chronicles 5:13,14.
